In ultimii 3 ani deficitul bugetar a crescut de la 0.8 % din PIB in 2005 la 2,63 % in 2007. Pentru 2008 deficitul bugetar a fost stabilit la 2,7 % din PIB iar politica fiscala din acest an trebuie sa mentina procesul de dezinflatie si sa mentina deficitul bugetar sub limita de 3%..
