Ion Scărlătescu (b. 1872 - d. 1922) was a Romanian composer, teacher at the Bucharest Conservatoire. It was also a piano player. He wrote a Romanian Rhapsody for orchestra, but especially camera music. The most known is „Bagatelle” (1917) for violin and piano.
Ciprian Porumbescu (born Cyprian Gołęmbiowski on October 14, 1853 – July 6, 1883) was a Romanian composer born in Şipotele Sucevei in the former Austrian province of Bukovina.
