Ioan Chrysostom, consacrat în română ca Ioan Gură de Aur, (n. 347 în Antiohia – d. 407), una din cele mai importante figuri ale patrologiei creştine. Sf. Ioan Gură de Aur a fost sanctificat de Biserica Ortodoxă cât şi de cea Catolică, în cadrul căreia poartă titlul de doctor al Bisericii.
