Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt and the co-founder Larry Page have teamed up with James Cameron, founding Planetary Resources on April 24, 2012, a company whose main declared activity is the space exploration and to expand the Earth's natural resources, "looking for ways to extract raw materials from non-Earth sources", based on "trillions of dollars to the global GDP."
Google Economy identifies the concept that the value of a resource can be determined by the way that resource is linked to other resources. It is more complex than search ranking, and broader than interlinked web pages, though it draws meaning from both.
