The US Vice President Joe Biden has congratulated the effort of the Romanian soldiers in Afghanistan, Balkans and Irak, and the support of the Romanian authorities for the new project for missile defense. " Our soldiers are proud to fight side by side with the Romanian warrior soldiers", said Joe Biden. He added that the new U.S. Ambassador to Romania, Mark Gitenstein, is his best friend.
Joe Biden denied that his visit has any connection with the election campaign for the Romanian Presidency that starts tomorrow.
