Field hockey at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing will be held over a fourteen day period beginning on August 10, and culminating with the medal finals on August 23. All games will be played at the hockey field constructed on the Olympic Green.
The water polo competitions at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing will be held from August 10 to August 24, at the Beijing's Ying Tung Pool. Medals will be awarded in both men's and women's tournaments.
Twelve teams will compete in the men's water polo competition.
Weightlifting competitions at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing will be held from August 9 to August 19. Competitions will be conducted at the Beihang University Gymnasium.
15 sets of medals will be awarded in the following events:
Archery at the 2008 Summer Olympics will be held over a seven day period starting August 9 and ending August 15. The events will take place at the Olympic Green Archery Field, a temporary venue on the Olympic Green, Beijing's Olympic Park.
