Russia–Ukraine gas disputes refer to number of disputes between Russian state-controlled gas supplier Gazprom and Ukraine over natural gas supplies, prices and debts.

A serious dispute started in March 2005 over the natural gas and transit prices. This dispute culminated on 1 January 2006 in cutting gas supplies to Ukraine. The situation calmed on 4 January 2006 when supply was restored and a preliminary agreement between Russia's gas companies and Ukraine was achieved.

Decebalus (Decebal in Romanian) or "The Brave One" was a king of Dacia (originally named Diurpaneus—ruled the Dacians 87 – 106)[2] and is famous for fighting three wars and negotiating two interregnums of peace without being eliminated against the Roman Empire under two emperors.

The Statue of Dacian king Decebalus is a 40-meter high statue that is the tallest rock sculpture in Europe. It is located on the Danube's rocky bank, near the city of Orşova, Romania.
