Types of marketing

A Professor at one of the IIMs was explaining marketing concepts to the Students:

You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say: "I am very rich, marry me!" - That's Direct Marketing"

You're at a party with a bunch of friends and see a gorgeous girl. One of your friends goes up to her and pointing at you says: "He's very rich."Marry him." -That's Advertising"

You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and get her telephone number. The next day, you call and say: "Hi, I'm very rich."Marry me - That's Telemarketing"

Danube

The Danube is the longest river in the European Union and Europe's second longest river after the Volga.

The river originates in the Black Forest in Germany as the much smaller Brigach and Breg rivers which join at the eponymously named German town Donaueschingen, after which it is known as the Danube and flows eastwards for a distance of some 2850 km (1771 miles), passing through four Central and Eastern European capitals, before emptying into the Black Sea via the Danube Delta in Romania and Ukraine.

First UFO contact confirmed by officials

Two days ago, a forest guard of a small Romanian village, Poiana Mare, Dolj County, reported a very strange phenomenon in the forest, about 3 km on the route to Desa. He thought that there are some persons that want to steal woods during the night with the helps of some automobiles but, when he approached, he declare that he saw a very strange being that irradiated himself that light. When the forest guard was about 100 m wide of that being, he just disappeared and the forest man saw 4 or 5 different lights playing in the deep of the forest. The good news is that the forest man found in that place a strange object that he avoided to touch it and called for the soldiers.

The chief of a Romanian intelligence service, arrested for corruption

Cornel Şerban, chief of the Directorate General of Information and Internal Protection (DGIPI), Petru Pitcovici from the Anti-Corruption General Directorate (DGA), Ioan Alecu, ex-rector of the Bucharest University of Agronomy, and the businessman Gabriel Popoviciu were arrested for 24 hours and this evening will start the judgment of the three persons by the Bucharest Court of Appeal to decide if the arrest will be extended.
